The School’s Vision Statement

“To equip children for life long learning in a happy and secure environment.”

How will we do this?

By raising academic standards, creating a secure environment and encouraging children to become sociable people.

Raising Academic Standards

That we will professionally develop all staff to ensure that they have a thorough working knowledge of all curriculum areas.
That all staff have high expectations of themselves and the children.
That all assessment information will be used to inform planning and target setting.
That all staff have a shared commitment to high quality teaching and learning as a means to raising children’s achievement and development.
That all children’s individual needs are met.
That, as a school, we work with, inform and value parents.
That governors, in their visits, monitor the development of the subject they have responsibility for and liase regularly with the co-ordinators.

Socially

To ensure that all staff, children, parents and governors understand and support the implementation of the Assertive Discipline Policy.
To ensure that all staff follow the schemes of work or guidance statements in Religious Education, Personal Social and Health Education and Assemblies.
To create a positive environment where all children’s beliefs are acknowledged and valued.
