The School’s Vision Statement

“To equip children for life long learning in a happy and secure environment.”

How will we do this?

By raising academic standards, creating a secure environment and encouraging children to become sociable people.

Raising Academic Standards

  • That we will professionally develop all staff to ensure that they have a thorough working knowledge of all curriculum areas.
  • That all staff have high expectations of themselves and the children.

  • That all assessment information will be used to inform planning and target setting.

  • That all staff have a shared commitment to high quality teaching and learning as a means to raising children’s achievement and  development.
  • That all children’s individual needs are met.
  • That, as a school, we work with, inform and value parents.
  • That governors, in their visits, monitor the development of the subject they have responsibility for and liase regularly with the co-ordinators.

Socially

  • To ensure that all staff, children, parents and governors understand and support the implementation of the Assertive Discipline Policy.
  • To ensure that all staff follow the schemes of work or guidance statements in Religious Education, Personal Social and Health Education and Assemblies.
  • To create a positive environment where all children’s beliefs are acknowledged and valued.

Secure Environment

  • To provide a safe environment that facilitates learning
